Dr. Jess Holland
Dr. Jess is a local girl who graduated from Butler High School in 2004. After high school, she studied and graduated from Slippery Rock University with her bachelor’s degree in Biology. Upon graduation, she worked, as a cytologist, at the Magee’s Woman’s Hospital of UPMC for 5 years followed by one year at Butler Memorial Hospital. While working, she spent her free time playing roller derby under the name Wreck Defy. Unfortunately, her athletics meant Dr. Jess was no stranger to an injury or two. However, these injuries sparked her passion for Massage Therapy and Chiropractic school, graduating from Pittsburgh School of Massage in 2013 and Logan College of Chiropractic in 2019. She has advanced herself, even further, with her degree in personal training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and recently became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She has been living and practicing, as a chiropractic physician, in the Chicagoland area since graduating in 2019. She has gained her experience, in a high volume office, enabling her to obtain a diverse skillset to treat all muscular skeletal imbalances.
While Dr. Jess has had the pleasure of treating all clients. She does have a passion for athletics and treating associated injuries. During her time in roller derby, she learned the value of rehab. Her lumbar disc herniation and broken ankle gave her the drive to learn how to manage her pain through intrinsic muscle strength in tandem with chiropractic adjustments. Her passion for treating these injuries reside in her own personal strength to help people live a better quality of life.
In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her family and fur babies, going camping, enjoying music concerts, and going to CrossFit.
Come meet Dr. Jess for your chiropractic and wellness needs.
